Baby pictures

Here’s some photos of me as a newborn with my Mama and Gunter, my nanny, in the field outside the caravan.  the last photo shows a cheerful me, despite having been in a nasty car crash, which almost led to my losing an eye and got me 24 stitches – a rare thing in those days.  Fortunately we lived right by the RAF hospital where they specialised in plastic surgery.
